Our true nature is liberated, flowing, wild and energetic. Childhood traumas create defences, because our survival instinct was so strong it protected us at all costs. The cost is our experience now, disconnection from our-self, our body, others, life. Resulting in difficult relationships, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression and self-harming behaviours.
The decision to come to therapy is a brave one, it is a statement to yourself and the Universe that you no longer want to just survive, but to live with more purpose, connection and aliveness. The therapeutic relationship encourages this life force energy, giving space for wholeness to grow.
I offer a safe holding space for clients to reconnect with their present experience, their true nature. A chance to be with and explore anything that arises and wants to be heard and seen, including subtle energies. The relationship holds the potential for transformation and healing through embodiment, mindful awareness, compassion and warrior spirit.
I look forward to meeting you in the space and welcoming the whole of you. Let us go on a journey of discovery together. A courageous setting forth into the known and unknown. There is great wildness within us all; landscapes, depths, heights and everything in-between. Finding your inner compass is key, I will walk alongside you on this journey of exploration.
I work with human-beings, the interconnectivity and the individuality both/and. My training is a integration of western psychology and eastern philosophy; mindfulness based and present moment orientated. Yet we will explore the past and future from this base. I find working with the imaginal a powerful yet gentle resource, dreamwork has a surprising ability to wake us up and find inner truths.
There is the opportunity to connect to the wisdom of nature in The Wellbeing Garden. We can find our souls medicine in this healing mirror.
