Style of Working
Juliet is a trainee psychotherapist living in Bath studying in the second year for the MPROF in counselling and psychotherapy at Regents University in London. She has turned towards a career in psychotherapy after a long and loved 30 year career in nursing
Juliet aims to offer a compassionate, authentic, safe space for her clients to feel held, heard and secure to confidentially work though life challenges, changes, grief, loss, low mood, worries and times of uncertainty.
Professional and personal experience and a deep interest and care towards people at different life junctions has pointed toward the mind/body connection and recognition the impact of traumas both small and large on the wellbeing of individuals coping with everyday life.
The last 10 years in academia with both nurse lecturing and phd research has deepened an enquiry into the lived experience of managing risk and safety in healthcare. Juliets life long learning and current integrative training has existentialist leanings towards fundamental questions of meaning and purpose. She has an interest in natural and somatic therapies, reike, breathwork and a deep curiosity of holistic approaches to coping with anxiety, trauma, life events, low mood and low self esteem.
